A calming, barrier-building facial oil for skin that feels stressed, reactive, or city-worn. Botanicals of calendula, lavender, and chamomile soothe the look of redness and irritation — ideal after shaving, exfoliation, or a day in urban pollution — while helichrysum (immortelle) supports repair and collagen and sea buckthorn delivers brightening vitamin C for a smoother, more even complexion. Good for: sensitive or easily irritated skin, redness, dullness and uneven tone, post-shave or post-exfoliation care, and skin worn down by screens, weather, and city air. After using the Metamorphosis clay mask, I couldn’t wait to use the Steadfast face oil product
the next morning. This product arrived in a brown, sleek glass vial with a dropper top that
reminded me of the numerous products I have seen at high-end salons. I cleaned my face and
used the dropper to add a few drops of oil to my t-zone areas. As I rubbed the oil into my face, I
noticed my face feeling smoother and the rough patches that I usually have around my cheeks
and forehead faded away as the oils soaked into my skin.
The true test for me was a week later when I went outside in the sun to do some yard work. My
face usually burns fast and leaves my skin feeling flushed and irritated. I end up having to coat
my face with the highest SPF products I can find, just to spend an hour, or two outdoors. Even
then, my face will burn, and I end up peeling horrifically for days thereafter. However, after I
used the Steadfast product, I didn’t burn like I had a thousand times before. On the contrary, I
was able to keep a tan that looked natural for a couple of weeks before my face started to peel
after using the oil.

Not only did it prevent my face from burning in the sun in the interim, but the oils proved to be
effective even when weeks later I happened to notice a few patches of skin peeling around the
crown of my forehead. After every morning of the oil’s application, I found that my face became
smoother. It seemed the oils were sloughing off the excess dead skin from the previous week’s
sunburn preventing my entire face from undergoing the peeling process. My face was dead-skin
free after a mere 3 days of use. Not to mention, as the oils worked their magic, my face kept the
light glow that I had become accustomed to seeing since day 1 of using the product.
Taking into consideration the small stature of the product weighing in at 1 ounce, Steadfast is
more on the higher end of the spectrum when it comes to price of oil-based products; however,
the miracle inside that small jar is nothing short of a miracle.
